Frith & Company Acid Free Conservation mount board is made from wood based materials, is pH neutral and will not damage your artwork.
Acid protection is important for boards being used with photos. This is because photos are ruined by any paper materials with acid in them.
Standard boards should be avoided, and acid-free boards may need to be swapped out for new ones after several years before the acid becomes exposed.
